Creation and the artist residencies have been a distinctive aspect of Westway LAB since its first edition in 2014. In the previous editions, 28 artist residencies took place, from which came the same amount of partnership concerts and joint ventures, some of them had developments beyond the duration of the festival.
Facing this incredible outcome, all these projects comprehend a particular artistic view that is crucial to the continuity of the creative segment of the Westway LAB. This year, it is impossible to gather at the Candoso Creation Centre, artists from Portugal and from abroad for the limitless creative processes.
Anyway, to celebrate six years of creativity, community and legacy at the Westway LAB festival we will still have moments of conversation, audio and visual screenings and acoustic performances.
