Westway LAB is up and running again with new formats and new and innovative proposals. It has been difficult for everyone. When it all started, we decided to go on with the 7th festival edition in 2020, on a new date.
Despite all the conditionings, we kept a very similar grid with artists and speakers. We added technology to make things easier and stay connected. The program includes live and streaming shows.
We maintained some artists in the bill, including headliners, such as Portuguese acts Mão Morta Redux, Tó Trips and The Legendary Tigerman. And we added some valuable new ones. Some of the international artists will join us online.
The artist residencies is one of the most valuable parts of Westway LAB. Obviously we're not be able to do it this year. But we will have space to have some of the artists that were with us in the past editions on a rendez-vous, with all the security measures, that will open Westway LAB 2020.
Tickets are up on sale again. You can buy single tickets to attend all the concerts for only 20 euros. But if you prefer one day only, there's also a one-day ticket for 12,50 euros.
On the conference wing of Westway LAB, only for professionals of the music business, we will have Rob Challice (from Paradigm Agency) and Roberta Medina (from Rock in Rio) as keynote speakers. We will certainly discuss the music industry through the lights of the present days. And in many ways, how music was so decisive in the past months.
