After 13 years, Westway has become a magnetic hub for the power of music as an artistic, social, and economic driving force.

This intergenerational event that is Westway has built a strong legacy and left meaningful marks capable of generating countless opportunities.

We keep, as inspiration, the historic keynote by Jim Jarmusch with Rodrigo Areias. The highly successful launch of The Portuguese Discovery, strongly driven by audience attendance and promising (new) internationalization results for the bands. Penha Way – Meet the Locals, an experience that celebrated the landscape, artistic scene, and gastronomy of Guimarães at Adega do Ermitão. The City Showcases that filled Convívio, Bar da Ramada and CAAA, creating a powerful vibration across the city. The unmistakable presence of the new generation at the Westway MEETING and the quality of the themes discussed, which sparked meaningful debate. And, of course, the creative momentum with the remarkable results of the LAB at Café Concerto do CCVF.

It is also worth highlighting what became the final convergence of this energy: Westway LIVE. The festival presented a series of unforgettable concerts — in some cases national premieres — and elevated the relationship with audiences to a new level.

Music is a powerful vehicle for transformation, and that was felt in a truly significant way at Westway.
