The long-awaited moment by the music sector has arrived. Applications are open for music artists who want to take part in Westway LAB's artistic residencies and/or city showcases.

Projects of up to a maximum of two elements can apply for artistic residencies. Eight proposals will be selected (4 national and 4 foreign), which will result in four working groups for residencies that will take place at the Candoso Creation Centre (Guimarães), between the 2 and 9 April, with the consequent presentation of new material (showcase), on 10 or 11 April at the CCVF.

The city showcases happen in multiple venues of Guimarães city centre, which is classified as a world heritage site by UNESCO. These free entrance concerts will happen on Saturday afternoon (13 April) as part of the official festival program.
