A few days after the end of the festival and while reviewing these images, we can confirm what we had felt at the time: it was four intense, full, shared and beautiful days. We really enjoyed making the Westway LAB this year, with everyone who participated in it in one way or another.

The Westway LAB 2022 was built on the experience of the previous years, including those in which we were deprived of close contact. From its first moment, Westway LAB has put all those who participate in it into interaction, a kind of four-day coexistence, which unfolds in sharing the experience of live music, in co-creation and in the sharing of knowledge. As much as we were able to confirm, establish and stabilize, this edition of the festival served to make us think about a renewal, a new beginning, pushing Westway LAB into a future time, for the edition in which we will mark the 10th anniversary, from the 12th to the 15th of April 2023.

We could not miss to thank the public who trusted in our proposals, all the artists, all the conference delegates and all the partners who helped us transform Westway LAB into a kind of augmented reality: Município de Guimarães, AMAEI, Why Portugal, GDA , MERLIN, ESNS Exchange, Antena 3, Fluxoiberia, Caetano Auto, Museu de Alberto Sampaio, Convívio Associação, Oub'lá, Tribuna, Ramada 1930.
