HOFE is the artistic name behind the musical project led by singer Igotz Méndez. His trajectory began in 2018 as part of the Nibbass collective, with which he quickly positioned himself within the underground scene of Euskal Herria. Since then, he has stood out as a versatile artist with an alternative, creative and radically singular approach.
In 2020 he began consolidating his current artistic identity. Through the label Oso Polita he released his first mixtape, ‘AMODIOA’ (together with producers 4:40), followed by a series of singles and collaborations that reinforced his personal signature, such as Dinero Que Vuela with Ben Yart, Vampireando with La Élite, Cada Vez Ke Te Pienso with BRAVA, and Nadie Cuando Lloro with Merina Gris.
Closing out 2023, he released the EP ‘AMORRUA’, a continuation of the previous project. 2024 emerged as a decisive year. With more than 35 concerts confirmed nationwide, HOFE brings his powerful live performance to stages across the country, presenting the tracks from his latest EP.
In 2025, he began producing his upcoming and highly anticipated album.
