Metamito is a musical project that aims to dissolve the boundary between dream and reality. It is the product of the imagination of António Miguel Serra, an artist, multi-instrumentalist musician, and producer from the Sintra region. It is a project with an authentic and free musical expression, with a very distinctive language, incorporating dreamlike and sensory sounds, addressing themes such as myth, mysticism, love, truth, and consciousness. In 2023, it released its first full-length original album, being considered one of the best national records of the year by various media platforms. Its music navigates through various musical genres, from dream-pop to psych-folk, but shares a psychedelic and ethereal touch, exploring emotions ranging from calm to mystical epiphany.

Yavor Zografski (alias SMYAH)  has been making music for the past 15 years and so far, his work amounts to 4 EPs and 3 albums. Last year, he created the soundtrack to a 90 min US feature film and he also composes music for dance performances for Derida Dance company. Besides creating music, Yavor also teaches music production and sound engineering at Sound Ninja Academy.

Yavor is running Sound in Picture, which he founded back in 2018. Sound in Picture is a blend of a label and visual arts magazine bringing musicians and photographers together in collaboration, releasing new music dressed in a series of photos and exploring the synergy between both worlds.

SMYAH’s creations have gained international recognition from major magazines and media such as XLR8R and CLASH, his music has been played on Rinse FM and he has released for the labels Stereofox and aL:lo (out of Colorado).

The artist's name is Yavor, but his pseudo "Smyah" means "laughter."
