Without a doubt: live music festivals at scale have an impact on how consumers relate to their favourite artists. Those moments have an incomparable experience in the sentiment consumers and fans have towards their beloved artists. Although, the role of diversity and gender balance in festival line-ups has been well at the centre of discussion, which has been rapidly increased by social media channels and other online forums. The question is how organizers and producers have been paying attention to these discussions and how they are acting to promote more equal access to opportunities. In this panel, we will look at Sziget Festival’s case study with Virag Csiszar, who will share with us all the tactics Sziget is adopting on this front.
